Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 107845
Subform link to MainForm is broken
Last modified: 2010-01-13 23:12:21 UTC
The simple link by an integer value between the main table "Adherents" and the subform table "Eleves" is broken. The link is OK up to OOO320m7 (Build:9641) but is broken in OOO320m8 (Build:9472). A sample database will be annexed Merry Christmas and best regards - Luzius

Haven't had the chance to try this on XP - checked with Ubunu 9.10 / OO.o 3.1.1 and 300m_7 I could not reproduce your problem. Using the Adherents form in the attached file I did receive an error on inserting new records in the sub-table, but this was in both version of OO.o and in both cases the error is a Foreign Key violation for Professor - there is a problem with how you are displaying that column, such that it displays '0' for all entries. But you must enter a valid string value for a new record insert.
2atjensen: It is normal that you could'nt reproduce the error! I mentioned that this form works well in ALL version 3.0, 3.1.x and developer releases up to OOO320m7 (Build:9641), but the subform is empty in version 3.2.0 french (installed from OOo_3.2.0rc1_20091217_Win32Intel_install_fr.exe). So please try it with the RC1 version. Thank you regards Luzius
Seems a regression and a showstopper for me... please, consider fixing before 3.2 final. Thanks.

@luzius - Yes, sorry. Retested with Ubuntu 9.10 / OOO320_RC1 Confirmed Change Platform, added keyword regression, assign to developer
and maybe even set to new... also chenged sub-component to none.
I've nominate this issue as a stopper for 3.2 on ML releases@openoffice.org
I can confirm it with WinXP and OOO320m8

I just installed OOo 3.2 RC2: the subform displays the correct data again. Thanks to all the developers and specially to fs for fixing this error. Best regards Luzius
