Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 7540
Auto fill with wrong char
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:37:13 UTC
For example, 9102-K4 and use auto fill function will generate 9103-K4, 9104-K4, 9105-K4 ... etc However what I want is 9102-K5, 9102-K6, 9102-K7 ... etc
Inserting two cells with 9102-K4 and 9102-K5, selecting them and then using auto fill does not work either. All cells are filled with 9102-K4. The current behavior might be unwanted in your case, but I think this is more an ENHANCEMENT than a DEFECT. Furthermore, in my opinion it's a philosophical question, if "9102-K4, 9102-K5, 9102-K6, ..." or "9102-K4, 9103-K4, 9104-K4, ..." is correct. But it would be nice, if OOo would support your proposed behavior as well. (By selecting 2 cells and then using the auto fill square, e.g.)
Hi Falko, 1 4 u. Frank
Changed this ferom Defect (which it is not) to Enhancement and from P2 to P4 and re-assigned it Bettina Haberer for further evaluation.
OK, How about add some configuration for user to select which case he want ?
To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements".
